Personal Experiences
Abdikani currently serves as Administrative and Finance Director, where he oversees financial planning, budgeting, payroll management, cash flow control, reconciliation, and compliance with institutional policies. His role includes strengthening internal financial systems, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring transparent and efficient resource management.
He previously worked as an Accountant at the Puntland Immigration Department, where he was responsible for verifying financial documents, preparing bank transactions, maintaining accounting records, and supporting payroll and reconciliations. His experience also spans the humanitarian sector through his work with World Vision International as a facilitator for Food-for-Cash projects, including field training, voucher distribution, and community engagement.
In the education sector, Abdikani served as a Senior Business Studies Teacher at Nugal Secondary School and later as Finance Manager at the University of Bosaso Garowe, where he manages student accounts, prepares financial statements, and contributes to key administrative functions.
