The University of Bosaso–Garowe (UOBG) and the Somali Institute for Health Research (SIHR) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) this evening to strengthen collaboration in knowledge exchange and health research.

The agreement commits both institutions to:

• Implement joint health research initiatives
• Strengthen institutional linkagesbetween UOBG and SIHR
• Build the research capacityof local researchers
• Contribute to the development of a resilient health systemin Puntland and across Somalia

This partnership marks an important step toward advancing evidence-based health research and fostering sustainable academic collaboration for national development.
