Promoting Community Maternal Health
The Center for Applied Development, Innovation, and Research (CADIR) at the University of Bosaso–Garowe successfully concluded a public research seminar on “Promoting Community Maternal Health.”
The seminar featured a valuable and insightful keynote presentation by Farina Gul, a public health researcher affiliated with Aga Khan University. Her presentation highlighted key challenges and evidence-based approaches to improving maternal health at the community level, drawing on research and practical experiences from low-resource settings.
The event brought together members of the academic community, researchers, students, and the wider public, fostering meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange on maternal health and community well-being.
CADIR remains committed to advancing research, innovation, and evidence-based discussions that contribute to sustainable development and improved social outcomes.
