Prof. Abdurezak A. Hashi serves as the Research and Academic Advisor at the University of Bosaso–Garowe, where he provides strategic guidance on enhancing research quality, fostering academic excellence, and strengthening institutional partnerships. He brings to UOBG a wealth of international academic experience and a distinguished record of scholarly leadership.
Personal Experiences
Prof. Hashi is currently a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), where he has contributed significantly to teaching, research, and curriculum development in advanced biological sciences. His academic interests include biotechnology applications in health, environmental sustainability, and interdisciplinary research methodologies.
Throughout his career, Prof. Hashi has been actively involved in mentoring faculty and graduate students, promoting evidence-based research, and facilitating collaborative projects across institutions. His role at UOBG focuses on advising on research strategy, building research capacity, and creating opportunities for academic exchange and external collaborations.
